Man cut from car after Schaumburg crash
A driver had to be cut from his car Friday night after a two-vehicle crash in Schaumburg, authorities said.
The accident occurred at 5:49 p.m. at the intersection of Roselle and Wise roads, according to Capt. Martin Sand of the Schaumburg Fire Department.
One of the cars struck a telephone electrical box, necessitating emergency crews to cut the roof off the vehicle, Sand said.
The driver, described as a man about 45 years old, did not have serious injuries, though he was transported to Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village for minor treatment, Sand said.
