Kilmer Elementary names new principal

Wheeling Township Elementary District 21 has named Diana O’Donnell as the next principal at Kilmer Elementary School beginning in the 2013-2014 school year.

O’Donnell has served as the assistant principal at Jack London Middle School during the past three years. Prior to that, she taught at both London and Cooper Middle Schools as well as in Barrington and in Minnesota.

O’Donnell has been invited to present at national conferences on topics such as authentic learning and has served as both adjunct faculty and student teaching supervisor at the university level. She has actively contributed to the District 21 Family Learning Program.

Current Kilmer Elementary School Principal Kim Zinman will be retiring at the end of the school year.
