Local dance team wins at national dance competition
(Chicago) – Erwin and Iwona Rybczynski of the Interclub Academy of Dance won three professional categories in the 2013 Indiana Challenge in Merrillville this past weekend. The Rybczynskis placed first in the Professional Showdance, Professional Rising Star and Open Professional.
The couple won each of the American Rhythm divisions. The dances include the Cha Cha, Rumba, Mambo, Bolero and Swing. The Indiana Challenge is a Ballroom and Latin Dance competition that features hundreds of competitive dance teams from across the country.
Erwin and Iwona Rybczynski own and operate the Interclub Academy of Dance in Niles. The Interclub Academy of Dance is a Chicago area dance studio that offers Ballroom, Hip Hop and Latin (Salsa) dance classes.
