Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?In 1989 I encouraged the,Village Board, to adopt a,Goals and Objectives Program,to prioritize the village needs and resources. Only after a series of meetings between the Village Board,Manager and Staff, using this process is the budget finalized for the coming year. All areas are prioritized as to the needs of our community.What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?Encourage the residents and property owners to maintain their properties at the highest level possible.
