Sullivan fitness rooms moving

The cardio and weight training rooms at the Vernon Hills Park District’s Sullivan Community Center will close permanently on Saturday, Feb. 2, with the equipment being moved to the new Lakeview Fitness Center, the former YMCA, at 700 Lakeview Parkway. The cardio/weight training room at Lakeview will be temporarily closed from Wednesday, Jan. 30 through Saturday for improvements, including new flooring, paint, and the installation of the equipment from Sullivan. It will reopen at 8 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3. The pool, Little Learning Child Care and the After School Club will not be affected by the cardio/weight training room closure. The aerobic room and gym will remain open at the Sullivan Community Center.
