Fox Lake Focused Party holds fundraiser

The Fox Lake Focused Party will host a fundraiser from 6-10 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16. The event will take place at Dockers Restaurant, 33 W. Grand Ave., Fox Lake. The suggested donation for the fundraiser, which will feature complimentary appetizers, pizza and refreshments, is $10.

The Fox Lake Focused Party features Mayor Ed Bender and Clerk Kimberly Mate, as well as trustees Kevin Burt, Jon Mumford and Valerie Griseta. The slate of incumbents are being challenged by the Common Sense Party in the upcoming April 9 election. The Common Sense Party is made up by Donald “Donnie” Schmit for mayor, Niki Warden for clerk, and trustees Ron Stochl, Bernie Konwent and Jeff Jensen. Independent candidate Bob Hoffman rounds out the candidates.
