Make decisions, make compromise
Make decisions, make compromise
I guess the folks in Springfield and Washington don’t really get it. To put it bluntly:
You are messing with my life ... not yours, not your friends, not your contributors, but my life. There are actually more of me than them, and yes, while I may not be able to contribute more to your campaign coffers, I do pay your salary and your pension. Which at this time, appears to be more than you are doing for me.
Your arrogance galls me. It really doesn’t matter whether I’m “red” or “blue,” it matters that I am a constituent. Does that word ring a bell? Be assured, we concentrated on the presidential selection this last time around, but now we can really concentrate on those of you who “claim to represent” us. To me, there has been no excuse for any of those in government to use the phrase “well...they won’t”, how about “we will?”
Do yourself and us a favor and do your job. Make decisions, make compromise, but most of all, make it worthwhile for us to keep you employed.
