Hanover Twp. seminar covers appealing property tax assessment
Hanover Township residents can learn how to appeal their 2012 property tax assessments by attending a free seminar at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Hanover Township Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett.
A presentation by Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak will cover how property taxes are calculated and the Board of Review’s appeal procedure. Taxpayers are asked to bring a copy of their most recent tax bill. Township residents have until Jan. 16 to file an appeal.
