Mt. Prospect library helps residents declutter their homes

After all the gift-opening and party-hosting that take place during the holidays, many people’s homes tend to look cluttered and messy. If the mess seems a bit overwhelming, consider attending an upcoming program at the Mount Prospect Public Library. Professional organizer Michelle Prima of Prima By Design Inc. will talk about de-cluttering the home, including troublesome areas like the kitchen, garage and bedroom closet. The workshop will offer organizing and storage options for each of these areas. The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at the library, 10 S. Emerson St. Registration required. To register, visit www.mppl.org, stop by the library, or call (847) 253-5675
