Mt. Prospect farmers market a success in 2012

Members of the Mount Prospect Lions Club recently reported that the 2012 version of the annual farmers market in the downtown area raised $17,000. Half of that goes to the Mount Prospect Food Pantry and the remainder will be distributed among various charities. The farmers market is traditionally held on Sundays from mid-June through mid-October.
