West Chicago has new filing dates for nominating petitions

West Chicago, Illinois: December 13, 2012 – The City of West Chicago has announced that City Hall will be closed for election purposes, as well as for other City business, on December 24, 2012 due to the passage of State legislation changing the deadline for filing petitions for the 2013 Consolidated Election from December 24, 2012 to December 26, 2012.

City Hall will reopen on December 26, 2012 and petitions may be filed from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m..
