Dist. 220 to appoint new board member Dec. 18

Barrington Unit District 220 has received applications from 22 residents interested in filling the seat of former board of education member Nicholas Sauer through the April 9 election.

The board is currently reviewing the applications and expects to vote on an appointment Dec. 18.

Sauer resigned from the board in November after winning election to the Lake County Board.
