Youth Sports Camps and Leagues at Palatine Park District

Palatine Park District provides a wide variety of athletic options for children. From winter break camps to league play in January, you are sure to find the opportunity to keep your children busy during the winter season. Team MSL Boys and Girls Holiday Basketball Camp

Dates: December 26-28 or January 2-4, 9am-11am

Age: Boys and Girls in Grades 1-4 and Grades 5-8

These camps will provide fundamental and advanced training in all aspects of the game of basketball. Camps led by Team MSL Coaches will include instruction as well as structured games.

Girls Holiday Volleyball Clinic

Dates: December 26-28, 12pm-2pm or 2pm-4pm

Age: Girls in Grades 4-6 and Grades 7-8

This holiday volleyball clinic will be offered over winter break. Camp will be led by Palatine High School Coaches Dan Gavin, Joyce Richardson and staff.

Boys and Girls Volleyball Leagues

Dates: January 7 through March 9 or 16

Ages: Separate leagues for boys and girls in 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade, and 7th/8th grade

This recreational league will include one hour weekly practices on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday night with league play on Saturdays from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. The league will include equal playing time, t-shirt uniforms, and medals for the champions and runners up in each group.

Kinder Soccer League

Dates: April 14 to June 9

Age: Kindergarten

This league emphasizes the fundamentals of soccer, sportsmanship and teamwork in a fun learning environment. Practices are held one evening per week for one hour, with games played on Sundays at noon or 1:00pm.

Falcon Park Kids Soccer League – NEW!

Dates: January 13 to March 3

Age: U7 – U8

This league is intended to provide U7 and U8 teams with a chance to hone their skills through match play on the indoor turf at Falcon Park. The league will consist of 8 weeks of regular season play on Sunday mornings with a seeded tournament at the end of the season. Teams are encouraged to register together; individual players can contact Louis D’Avila at 847-202-5111 or ldeavila@palatineparks.org to seek placement on a team.
