Santa to visit in Vernon Hills:

Spend a Saturday with Santa from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Dec. 8 at Christ Lutheran Church and Preschool, 595 Deerpath Drive, Vernon Hills. All are welcome to enjoy crafts, songs, snacks and a photo with the jolly man of Christmas. The church is next to the Countryside fire department headquarters.
