Schaumburg police seek seventh re-accreditation

A team of assessors from CALEA (Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies) will arrive in Schaumburg on Sunday, Nov. 11 to examine all aspects of the Schaumburg Police Department’s policies, procedures, management, field operations and support services.

As part of the on-site assessment, agency employees and members of the community are invited to offer comments at a public information session at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12 in room B of the Prairie Center for the Arts at 201 Schaumburg Court in Schaumburg.

If for some reason an individual cannot speak at the session but would still like to provide comments to the assessment team, they may do so by calling (847) 348-7101 between 1 and 3 p.m. Nov. 12.
