Prison for Streamwood man who admitted to molesting a girl

A Cook County judge sentenced a Streamwood man to three years in prison in exchange for his guilty pleas to charges that he molested a girl repeatedly over an extended period of time.
Efrain Toro, 46, pleaded guilty to two class 2 felonies of criminal sexual abuse. He received sentences of three years and two years, which will run concurrently, court records show.
Authorities said during an earlier hearing that Toro molested the now-teenage girl over a period of seven years.
Cook County Judge Kay Hanlon also ordered Toro to register as a sex offender and pay a total of $2,058 in fines.
