Senior Health Seminar – Oct. 30

As a part of Senior Health Month, the Mount Prospect Human Services Department is sponsoring a seminar on “Senior Sexuality and the Increasing Risk of HIV in the Golden Years.” The program will educate seniors on why they are uniquely at risk to contract HIV and why they are one of the fastest growing HIV positive populations in the United States. The presentation will discuss senior sexuality, HIV testing, and the health implications of HIV in the senior years. This presentation will be given by Senior Health Educator, Dorie Barron of the Cook County Department of Public Health On Tuesday, October 30 at 9:30 am at the Mount Prospect Village Hall, 50 S.
