Lakemoor plan presentation

The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning will give an informational presentation regarding its work on Lakemoor’s comprehensive plan during the village board meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 at the police department building, 27901 W. Concrete Drive. The updated plan will provide a framework for village officials to make informed investment decisions, address current community issues, and to reach long-term goals. The plan includes aspects such as land-use planning, residential and commercial development, transportation and parks and open space. An open house, which will give residents a chance to review the draft plan, is set for Nov. 13.
