Fire station open house in Ingleside

The Fox Lake Fire Protection District will be holding its annual open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at Station 2, 306 Washington St. in Ingleside. There will be many demonstrations, including a vehicle extrication, a dive simulator, a home sprinkler trailer and much more. Firefighters will be giving station tours, checking blood pressures and answering questions. Bring the whole family to meet your local firefighters at this free event.
