Elk Grove celebrates building character

The Community Character Coalition of Elk Grove held its fourth annual Celebration of Character Sept. 21 at the Elk Grove Pavilion, 1000 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, featuring live entertainment, free grilled food and beverages and a split-the-pot raffle.

Many area dignitaries, including Elk Grove Village Mayor Craig Johnson, were on hand. The mission of the Community Character Coalition is “To build the core of community strength” through the practice of the Six Pillars of Character Counts.
