Candy Days in Lisle Oct. 5, 12

All day Fridays, Oct. 5 and 12, Lisle Lions Club members in yellow Candy Day vests will be distributing rolls of candy and taking donations for Lisle Lions Club and Lions of Illinois Foundation projects.

Look for Lions at major road intersections of Lisle during rush hours, as well as several Lisle businesses during the day.

Lions Clubs in communities around the state will be participating in this annual project. Money collected goes to support Camp Lions for visually and hearing impaired children, low-vision clinics, mobile eye and hearing screening units, infant hearing screenings, used eye glasses and hearing aid collections, as well as local humanitarian projects in the clubs' communities.

Lions Clubs' fundraising for this event consists of soliciting contributions “on the street”, and “underwriting” funds donated by businesses and organizations to offset the cost of the candy used in the fundraiser.

Please help by donating to one of our Lion members in a yellow Lions vest or sending your donation to Lisle Lions Club, P.O. Box 481, Lisle IL 60532.

Know that any help that you can give is literally changing the quality of life of someone in need for the better. We serve to help others.
