The Kids At Allendale Need Your Help

On Thursday, September 27, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Hidden Treasures Thrift Shop (2114 East Grand Avenue in Lindenhurst), Allendale will host a recruitment open house for those interested in volunteering with the agency or serving as a foster care parent.

At the open house, staff members from the agency's volunteer services and foster care unit will explain how individuals, organizations, or corporations can help the children, youth, and families at Allendale. Volunteers are needed to help with mentoring activities, life and job skills training and coaching, and to serve as positive role models. Foster care parents are needed to provide emotional support, structure, and encouragement.

For more information, or to reserve your space at the open house, please contact Laura at 847-245-6483. Space is limited, so make your reservations soon.
