Two hurt in Mt. Prospect collision

Two victims were taken to the hospital after a crash in Mount Prospect Friday afternoon.
A plumbing truck and SUV collided on Busse Road south of Lincoln Street, near the Mount Prospect Golf Club, about 4:30 p.m., according to Battalion Chief Randy Uidl of the Mount Prospect Fire Department.
It’s unclear exactly how the crash occurred, but police were investigating.
The lone occupant of the SUV and one of three occupants of the truck were taken to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. The extent of the victims’ injuries were unknown.
Busse was closed to traffic between Central and Golf roads during the accident investigation.
