Mario Rodriguez scored twice and Nestor Ascencio added a goal as Streamwood downed South Elgin 3-2 Friday in Upstate Eight crossover boys soccer action. Christian Balbino added an assist for the Sabres.

Phil Lewy made 4 saves in goal for Streamwood, which moved to 5-2 on the season with the win.

Harvest Christian 2, Schaumburg Christian 1: Stuart Wolff and Chris DeSouza scored goals for the Lions (1-2-2) in this nonconference win. Jake Thome and Zach Harbaugh had assists and Patrick McGuire made 6 saves in goal for Harvest Christian.
