Palatine’s Tiger Sharks Swim posts new records

Palatine Park District’s Tiger Shark Swim Team is bringing the summerlong course season to a close. Throughout the season, several new records were established. Congratulations to the following swimmers on their additions to the Palatine Park District Tiger Sharks record books:

Ÿ Alyssa Schwengel: 500-yard freestyle, 8 and under girls

Ÿ Sophia Kuehn: 100-meter butterfly. 9-10 girls

Ÿ Ellis Nelson: 50-meter, 100-meter, and 200-meter breaststroke, 11-12 girls

Ÿ Julia Portmann: 1500-meter freestyle, 13-14 girls

Ÿ Lily Zahn: 200-meter butterfly, 13-14 girls

Ÿ Alex Schillinger: 1500-meter freestyle, 200-meter breaststroke, and 200-meter butterfly, 11-12 boys

Ÿ Sean Rodney: 1500-meter freestyle, 200-meter butterfly, 200-meter individual medley, and 400-meter individual medley, 13-14 boys
