Tax assessment help at CLC

The Lake County Assessment Office will host a tax assessment help center from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28 at the University of Lake County, 1200 University Center Drive, Grayslake. Residents will work one on one with an assessment office employee for personal assistance in evaluating their property tax assessment. The session is one of 18 help centers scheduled through Oct. 25 at the University Center and College of Lake County, Southlake campus, 1120 S. Milwaukee Ave., Vernon Hills. The first help center at the Southlake campus is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30.
