Warren’s Solis leaves Wheeling no solace

It was all Auner Solis, early and often, for Warren’s boys soccer team.

The Blue Devils blanked Wheeling 4-0 in the Glenbrook South tournament Thursday, as Solis scored every goal. He netted a pair of goals in the match’s first four minutes.

Marquette-bound Daniel Szczepanek assisted on a pair of tallies, while Chris Travis and Sean Kirwan also had assists.

Stevenson 2, Schurz 0: At Glenbrook South, the Patriots got goals from Mike Dobin and Jacob Krause. Jared Moelaart and Kamal Starks contributed assists as well.

Grayslake Central 1, St. Patrick 0: At Vernon Hills, Alex Stickler scored his second goal in as many games for the Rams.

Prairie Ridge 4, Grant 0: The host Bulldogs fell to 0-2 on the season.
