Vernon Hills company to expand:
A Vernon Hills company will be expanding. The village board on Tuesday approved site revisions to allow for a substantial addition at Kanaflex Corp., 875 Woodlands Parkway in the Corporate Woods business park. The company, which manufactures large piping products, will add about 98,000 square feet of space to its existing 57,000-square-foot building. About 70 percent of the new space would be used for warehousing and the remaining 30 percent for manufacturing. Kanaflex makes a variety of PVC, rubber, urethane, polypropylene, ducting hoses, and metal reinforced pipe, according to the company website.
