Palatine’s SuperSibs! group hosts kickoff party for Sibtember campaign
The public is invited to attend the SuperSibs! organization’s Sibtember Kickoff Party and learn how wearing suspenders next month will help families battling pediatric cancer.
The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at John Barleycorn, 1100 American Lane, Schaumburg.
Sibtember is a grass-roots movement aimed at raising awareness and funds for the Palatine-based nonprofit organization, which supports siblings of children with cancer. A brief program at 6:30 p.m. will provide an overview of SuperSibs! and Sibtember. The event also will feature activities and a cash bar. For more information, visit supersibs.org.
