Polo for Pets charity match to benefit Huntley shelter

Dahlwood Polo Farm will present the second annual Polo for Pets Tailgate Charity Match benefiting Animal House Shelter.

Animal House Shelter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter for all breeds of dogs and cats. Dahlwood Farms is donating all proceeds of this event to help save the lives of homeless animals.

The fundraiser will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at the Dahlwood Polo Farm, 9N655 Kendall Road, Elgin. Plan a picnic for field side tailgating; small grills are welcome. Bring some chairs and come experience the sport of polo with friends and family in a country atmosphere.

Tickets can be purchased online by visiting animalhouseshelter.com and clicking on any “donate now” button. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for children and kids under 5 are free when pre-ordered online. Tickets also can be purchased at the event at $ 20 for adults, $15 for children and kids under 5 still free.
