Obscene spending threatens democracy

Once again the Republican Party has shown its obstructionist colors by recently filibustering a Senate bill that would have required certain named entities to disclose the source of their campaign contributions of $10,000 or more.

Elections are being determined and candidates are being bought via obscenely large amounts of secret money. This situation can only undermine this representative democracy we all cherish.
