New Presence Center for Health now open

Presence Center for Health invited hundreds of local residents out for an afternoon of free activities and health screenings June 24 to celebrate its grand opening.

The afternoon was filled with fun and educational activities for adults and children, including free physician advice, health screenings, healthy snack station, art projects, an interactive glow-germ station and many raffle prizes and games.

The festivities were made possible through co-sponsorships with the Park Ridge Public Library and Park District, Brickton Arts Center, the Park Ridge Fire Department and Resurrection Medical Group.

The new 30,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility was built by O’Malley Construction Company of Arlington Heights, and features a broad range of services under one roof—including a low dose radiation Advanced Imaging Center, Immediate Care Center, occupational health services, and extended hours for internal and family medicine. It offers the very latest in imaging technology, including low dose radiation 64 slice CT scans and X-rays, and a wide bore MRI.
