Allendale Association raises money “FORE!” the children

Recently, the Allendale Association held its Annual Golf Tournament at the beautiful and historic Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park. This year's “FORE!” The Children golf event raised more than $40,000 -- surpassing last year's amount.

Event Co-Chairs, Robert E. Lee, III and Horace “Hob” Jordan, Jr., both of Lake Forest, attribute the event's success to the dedication and commitment of Allendale's board and steadfast donors.

"We have some exceptional board members and donors who believe in the mission of the Allendale Association," said Lee. Jordan echoed those sentiments. "Allendale is indeed appreciative of the consistent support we've received for the golf tournament and this year we surpassed our fundraising goal," concluded Jordan.

Over the last 16 years, Allendale has sponsored more than 11 golf tournaments to help raise money for their community-based programs and services that benefit the children, youth and families of Cook, Lake, and McHenry counties.
