GLMV Tax Roundtable with Rep. Dold on July 27

GLMV Chamber of Commerce members and local business owners who want to better understand tax issues and what the "fiscal cliff" means for themselves and their business are invited to a special legislative roundtable with Rep. Bob Dold.

The Tax Roundtable event will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 27, at the Tranel Financial Group, 1509 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.

Rep. Dold will be conducting the roundtable to discuss the Fiscal cliff/Taxmageddon coming sans Congressional action by Jan 1. This would dovetail with a number of issues facing area employers: tax rates (especially important for LLCs, LLPs, Sub-S and other pass-thrus), R&D and alt energy production tax credits, looming defense cuts for contractors, corporate tax rates, repatriating international profits for multinationals, and other issues with broader tax reform.
