One hurt in Fox Lake crash

A gravel truck collided with a minivan at the intersection of Route 12 and Big Hollow Road in Fox Lake about 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, authorities said. The driver of the minivan was taken to Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry as a precaution, firefighters said. No additional injuries were reported. The intersection was shut down for more than an hour after the crash. No other details were immediately available.
