Stock pantry shelves with Block party donation
The Mount Prospect Community Relations Commission is asking attendees to the Mount Prospect Downtown Block Party on Saturday, July 28, to bring a donation to the Mount Prospect Food Pantry.
Please look for the Community Relations donation drop off area at the Block Party. A list of needed items can be found at www.mountprospect.org/foodpantry.
The Downtown Block Party will be held at the intersection of Emerson Street and Busse Avenue, from 5-11 p.m. Friday, July 27, and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday, July 28. The food pantry collection will only take place on Saturday.

The Mount Prospect Food pantry is in need of donations. The food pantry is administered by the Mount Prospect Human Services Department, which is located at 50 S. Emerson St. The food pantry supplies immediate grocery items for those residents who are in need of emergency food. They accept nonperishable food items and paper goods. If you can, please help those that are in need.
