Hanover Township launches app for iPhone users

Hanover Township has launched a new iPhone app to give residents another tool to stay informed and up to date on what is happening in their community.

“We’re very excited to take this bold step into mobile technology,” Hanover Township Supervisor Brian P. McGuire said. “We look at it as yet another way to keep residents informed and to increase an already transparent township government.”

The iPhone application allows residents to easily find officials’ and staff contact information, as well as submit a question to the township.

“This will be truly interactive and help the township become even more responsive to the needs of our residents,” McGuire said.

The new iPhone app includes a Twitter feed and a link to the township’s YouTube page for videos on board meeting recaps and highlighting special events. App users will also be able to access the township’s event calendar from their iPhone.

To download the app, iPhone users can visit the App Store and search for Hanover Township. The app will be available for Android phones in the coming months.
