Kim's Black Belt Academy teams with Jewel to aid Community Crisis Center
Kim's Black Belt Academy succeeds in collecting 580 items and over $100 in cash donations for the Community Crisis Center thanks to the generosity of Elgin area residents and Jewel-Osco. On Sunday, July 1st, Kim's Black Belt Academy set up a donation station outside Jewel-Osco on Larkin Ave. They received an overwhelming show of support from customers to help restock the pantry at the Community Crisis Center. They will be holding another drive on Friday, July 20th at the Jewel-Osco on Summit St. from 11-4 p.m. If you wish to donate, please contact the school at (847) 695-5434.
