Could kids keep bank robbery money?

Once again, our president is pandering for votes by announcing to suspend deportation of young illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children. His thinking is that through no fault of their own, these children were brought to the U.S. by their parents, and have been enjoying the “good life” of living in the U.S., and we should not penalize these children by forcing/deporting them back to their original homeland.

My analogy to this situation is, what if the parents were bank robbers, got away with their crime for many years, and their children enjoyed the newfound wealth from the bank robbery.

Once the parents are caught, would we allow the children to keep the robbery money? Of course not. Why does this President not protect American workers from competing with Illegal immigrants for jobs?
