Bears sign offensive tackle, cornerback
The Chicago Bears have signed defensive tackle Cory Brandon and cornerback Cornelius Brown.
Brandon, an undrafted free agent with Tampa Bay briefly in 2011, is a 6-7, 324-pound offensive lineman who played at Oklahoma. He played in four preseason contests for Tampa Bay but was waived on Sept. 3.
Brown originally joined the Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2010 out of the University of Texas-El Paso. He was waived by the Bears after the 2010 preseason and signed to the Indianapolis Colts practice squad. The 5-11, 198-pound cornerback appeared in 10 games in 2010 for the Colts with 16 tackles and 3 passes defensed. He also returned 5 kickoffs for 102 yards. Brown was released by the Colts during the 2011 preseason.
