Walker victory shows hope for America

With Walker’s vote of confidence as a successful leader, it is noteworthy how the hand-wringing Democratic liberal project views this landslide victory as a vote against organized labor.

To save face, Democrats, currently in denial as to the quality of their ground game in Wisconsin, will marginalize Walker’s win as an isolated case. But this Republican win is significant.

Since Obama won in 2004, the Democrats have continually lost elections — at the governor level, the 2010 Congressional mandate against White House fiscal policy and now this win, symbolic of what’s about to occur in November.

If I were President Obama, about to lose his day job, I’d be exploring how as Celebrity-in-Chief he might leverage his Hollywood contacts where he could star as a gifted law professor with a rich community organizer background whose visions of grandeur included becoming leader of the free world.

All Romney needs to do now is stay on message, be careful not to gloat and build on the sound principles of success Wisconsin’s governor was faulted for when he “victimized” union workers, most of whom quit because the dues they lost every paycheck produced no results. They must have been less concerned about political ideology than paying the rent. There may be hope for America after all.
