Danica Patrick to meet with fans at Chicagoland track

Danica Patrick will appear in the Checkered Flag Fan Zone at Chicagoland Speedway before she races in the STP 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series Race on July 22.

Patrick will host a question-and-answer session for fans. She will be joined by 2011 Nationwide Series Champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Justin Allgaier, who won the STP 300 race last year.

“It is always our goal to provide our fans with access to the most compelling lineup of drivers possible during our event weekends, and we believe Danica’s presence in the Checkered Flag Fan Zone certainly helps us to achieve that objective,” Chicagoland Speedway president Scott Paddock said.

The STP 300 is the first of three races at the Chicagoland Speedway that Patrick will run in this year.

Tickets for the Checkered Flag Fan Zone, which is right outside the entrance of the track, include a full buffet meal and access to self guided pit tours, music, entertainment and prizes. Tickets for Sunday, July 22 can be purchased for $115.
