Wood Dale police searching for two home invaders

Wood Dale police are asking for help in finding two men who invaded a home late Tuesday night in the 400 block of George Street.

Deputy police Chief Mike Rivas said the victim arrived home about 11:30 p.m. and discovered two men in his house.

Rivas said the victim startled the suspects, forcing the two to flee, but not before one hurt his leg slightly while escaping.

Rivas said the invaders fled in an unknown vehicle and the victim immediately called police.
