“We have been focusing on creating events that bring people to downtown Mount Prospect. We have so much to offer – we want to bring people together and remind them of all the great businesses we have in our town,” said Dawn Fletcher Collins, Executive Director of the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce.

Concert-goers are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets and pick up dinner or snacks at a local Mount Prospect restaurant, or enjoy a meal before or after the show.

“The purpose of the Downtown Merchants Association is to bring people into the downtown to eat, shop and have fun. The Friday events are a great way to do it – it's Friday, it's fun, and it's free!”said Downtown Merchants Association President and co-owner of Byte Me! Computers, Roberta Hamann.

The Friday events are a partnership between the Village of Mount Prospect, Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce and the Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants Association.

Sponsorship opportunities for the Friday events are available, please contact Maura at 847/818-5308 for details. For more information about this and other great events, visit www.experiencemountprospect.org.
