Senior expo June 6 to feature Secretary of State staff

The Batavia Park District and the Batavia Senior Citizens Club will present the fourth annual “Super Savvy Senior Expo” on Wednesday, June 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Eastside Community Center and Shannon Hall, 14 N. Van Buren St., in Batavia.

This free expo will showcase a variety of services available for young at heart individuals and/or their caregivers, however, all ages are welcome. Stop by to browse local resources in areas such as healthcare, travel, entertainment, improving daily life and more.

Expo visitors can enter for a chance to win great prizes, including $100 cash courtesy of Triple R Tours of Aurora and free ticket vouchers to the Paramount Theatre in Aurora. Free refreshments will be served.

This year, the Illinois Secretary of State will be on site to offer a free Rules of the Road Course from 9:30 to 11 a.m., process Driver's License or State ID card renewals or replacements, issue vehicle stickers and offer information on organ and tissue donors.

To renew a current Illinois driver's license or ID card, a valid driver's license or ID card must be presented. To apply for a duplicate or corrected driver's license or ID card, two forms of identification must be presented.
