Dist. 102 hosts book fair June 2

Aptakisic-Tripp Elementary District 102 in Buffalo Grove is hosting its summer book fair on June 2 at Barnes & Noble, 920 Milwaukee Ave., in Lincolnshire. The fair will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Events include raffles, talent shows and teacher-led storytimes. Attendees will be able to meet with writers Brenda Ferber, author of “Julia’s Kitchen,” at 10 a.m. and Rachel Bertsche, author of “MWF Seeking BFF,” at 3 p.m. Proceeds from the fair will go toward the media centers at the district’s four schools.
