Nonprofit workshop

Registration is now open for the half-day training workshop, “Building Capacity of Non-Profits Through Marketing” scheduled for Tuesday, June 12. It is offered by Not-For-Profit Resources Inc. and the United Way of Greater McHenry County Volunteer Center. It will be at Family Services and Community Mental Health Center, 4100 Veterans Parkway, McHenry. Check-in and networking will be from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and the event will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Registration is required. The purpose of the training is to inspire innovative approaches for organizations to get their message out to the public. Registration can be completed online at volunteermchenrycounty.org. Early bird registration for members of United Way of Greater McHenry County Volunteer Center is $20 until June 1 and $30 for nonmembers. For details, call (815) 344-4483.
