Goose killers in Glen Ellyn, too

Regarding Tom Wehrli’s May 13 letter to the editor, I am in total sympathy with your anger at the “driver” who hit and killed a baby goose in Naperville. We must have his twin brother living in Glen Ellyn.

On Raintree Court, which is a “loop” road connecting the parking lots of the condo buildings, someone flattened a baby goose about two weeks ago. He was a bit smaller than the other four, and was always a little slower and trying very hard to keep up with the rest of the family.

So some idiot couldn’t wait another three seconds for him to get up the curb? I guess the thought of that beer at home in the refrigerator or some other insignificant event was more important than a tiny life.

If you find that Bluebird of Happiness, feed it another box of berries and send it to Glen Ellyn.
