Hanover Twp. seeks volunteers for Committee on Youth

Hanover Township is looking for interested adults and youth, 15 and older, to serve on the Township’s Committee on Youth. Membership is open to adults who reside or work in the community and youth who reside or attend a High School in the Township. COY is a volunteer committee which serves in an advisory capacity to the Hanover Township Board of Trustees.

“The Committee on Youth has grown into a major presence in the community through hosting student workshops and honoring youth leaders and adults that work with them,” said Hanover Township Supervisor Brian P. McGuire. “We encourage youth and adults from all backgrounds and fields to apply”.

The goal of COY is the prevention of delinquency and the promotion of positive development in young people.

Those interested in serving can pick up an application from the Township offices at 250 S. Route 59, in Bartlett or visit hanover-township.org. Completed applications are due by Monday, June 11.
