Join BikeFEST June 10 in Addison

Join your friends and neighbors for a casual ride along the Salt Creek Greenway Trail on Sunday, June 10 for the Addison Park District's second annual BikeFEST.

This is a family-friendly, free community event starts at 9 a.m. in Community Park, 120 E. Oak St. in Addison and is open to cyclists of all ages.

Members of Elmhurst Bike Club will lead the ride north to Elmhurst which will be the turn-around point before heading back to Community Park in Addison.

In addition to a ride along the Salt Creek Greenway Trail, cyclists will have an opportunity to talk with several bike vendors in Community Park before riding the trail. Community members can learn about bicycle safety from Addison Police Department and ask questions to staff members of Village Cycle or a bicycle mechanic. A water station will be set up in Community Park and each person will be given a refillable sports bottle from the Addison Park District in addition to other free promotional items.

Addison Park District is committed to providing the highest quality recreational opportunities and open space for everyone.
